I wanna be Your hands, I wanna be Your feet. I'll go...
Saturday I joined a group doing homeless ministry in Kensington. One of the worst places in Philly. The Lord taught me that prayer is just as important as physical labor. In the unlikely event that they have too many volunteers, they ask women to pray. I was in the prayer group and wondered if I was truly helping. God taught me more how to be a Mary rather than a Martha that day. Both are necessary, but this time the Mary role was more important for me to fill.
