Yesterday was our first snowfall of the year. We had flakes the size of QUARTERS! Here are a few pictures:
First- Our back yard. Better yet, the snow subduing our backyard.
Second- Me in the kitchen trying to wait out the power outage, but to no avail.
I can't complain. The Lord provided a night's stay at a local hotel. I got FOUR pillows on my bed. Including the one I brought
(I don't trust icky hotel pillows), I had FIVE!! Needless to say, the five and a half hours of sleep I got were cozy ones. Praise God! When He answers prayer, sometimes He does it ABUNDANTLY!

I am with you about hotel pillows! In fact BJT and I take our own pillows (two each) with us for the winter or to campmeeting or wherever we plan to lay our knobby little heads! A good night's sleep is important! Glad you had such a pleasant way to spend the power outage.
